How to sleep after microblading

Did you know that there is a way you must sleep after having your eyebrows microbladed?!

Why? well, because you want your brows to heal well and retain as much pigment as possible. The aftercare process is just as important as the procedure, in contributing to good microblading results.

It is not uncommon for a microblading artist to see a loss of pigment on one brow only, particularly the tail end of the brow. We attribute this reason to be sleeping one side face, leaning on part of the eyebrow.

For best microblading results, it is best not to lean or pull onto the skin where the pigment is newly implanted, as you don't want to create pigment loss.

A sensible suggestion? Sleep on your back! At least for 1-2 weeks, or until the scabs have peeled away and the new skin cells have reformed to enclose the pigment into the skin.

Understandably, for us side sleepers or face-down sleepers, this is easier said than done! Do the best you can, and return for your retouch appointment for your microblading artist to add any pigment where necessary and perfect the results.
