Do I still need an eyebrow tint after microblading?

Microblading is the application of permanent makeup pigment into the skin, to give the illusion of a fuller brow.

The two main reasons why we opt to have an eyebrow tint is to cover greys, or darken light hairs for more definition.

Whilst microblading gives the illusion of a fuller brow, and a darker pigment can be used for definition, microblading doesn't affect the colour of your eyebrow hairs itself.

In some cases, you may find that the background colour from the microblading gives you enough definition, but you are still able to have your usual brow tint if you wanted to continue covering the odd grey hair or darken the hairs themselves.

Just remember to wait until microblading healing is complete before you go back to your beautician to have an eyebrow tint. We advise that you wait at least 3 weeks for this.

Please note, if you do currently have your eyebrows tinted, we recommend that you do not refrain from a tint for at least 2 weeks before your microblading appointment. This is so that we have clean, product-free skin to work with when carrying out your microblading treatment.
