Aftercare instructions for semi permanent eyeliner
The aftercare for a semi-permanent eyeliner procedure is crucial to ensuring that the results are long-lasting and that the healing process is as smooth as possible. Here are some do's and don'ts of the aftercare for a semi-permanent eyeliner procedure:
DO's
Keep the area clean. Clean the area with a damp cotton bud in the morning to remove sleep from the eyes
Apply a healing balm as directed by your permanent makeup artist
Wear sunglasses to protect your eyes from sunlight and wind to prevent irritation
Avoid getting water on your face for at least 24 hours after the procedure
Follow the instructions provided by your artist to ensure the best results
DON'Ts
Do not arrive to your appointment with lash extensions. These must be removed prior to a permanent eyeliner er treatment
Do not touching or rub the eye area as it can cause irritation and can result in scabbing, which can lead to uneven colour and scarring
Avoid swimming, sauna, steam room, or hot tub for at least 24 hours after the procedure
Avoid using eye makeup for at least a week after the procedure. Use clean brushes and a new mascara to avoid infection
Avoid direct sun exposure. It can cause the colour to fade faster and can also cause irritation and dryness
Do not use any creams or lotions that contain AHA or retinol, as they can cause lightening of the pigmentation
